Installation Ceremony of Rotaract Club of SRCC: A New Chapter of Leadership and Service


The Installation Ceremony was organized by the Rotaract Club of Shri Ram College of Commerce in order to formally induct new cabinet members into the forthcoming tenure of 2025–26. The event officially began the responsibilities and reinstated the commitment of the society towards the motto of Rotaract-"Service Above Self." The ceremony entitled “Navonmesh” which reflected the warmth, celebration of hope, growth, and  symbolizing new beginnings. The  air was filled with excitement and pride as students, faculty, and Rotaract dignitaries gathered to witness the birth of SRCC’s own Rotaract legacy -one built on empathy, leadership and service.

The event was graced by an illustrations panel of eminent Rotarians and Rotaractors who have been instrumental in shaping the movement of Rotaract graced the ceremony. The guests of honor included Immediate Past District Secretary RTN. Sanjeev Jawahar (Club Advisor), New Generation Chair RTN. Mona Puri, Vice President of Rotary Club Delhi Southeast RTN. Sarika, District Rotaract Representative RTR. Rishika Khanna, District Rotaract Secretary RTR. Archit Bhatia, District Joint Secretary RTR. Daksh Sharma, and Zonal Rotaract Representatives RTR. Kartik Dawar and RTR. Lokesh Saini.

The morning began with the cheerful greetings  exchange of warmth and courtesy amongst the guests present and members. Even the juniors were enthused with the spirit of this so-inclusive and vibrant society. This was followed by the collaring of the Event Chair RTR. Rudra Madhav Patra, who extended a gracious welcome and set the stage for an inspiring program ahead. Not too long into it, the dignitaries pinned badges on all newly appointed cabinet members-a badge of trust, responsibility, the beginning of a new leadership journey.

The highlight of the ceremony was the collaring of chapter President RTR. Angel Patel, a defining moment that marked the official establishment of the club’s leadership. After the pinning ceremony, the President’s Oath, administered by District Rotaract Representative RTR. Rishika Khanna, was a moving moment — a promise of dedication, teamwork, and selfless service. Soon after, Vice President RTR. Patra was collared, symbolizing the shared responsibility of steering the club forward.

The guests of honor addressed the gathering with their experiences and insights in leadership, dedication, teamwork, and community service. Their words of encouragement motivated the members to keep striving for excellence while upholding the three cornerstones that define Rotaract: empathy, collaboration, and social responsibility. Each address was a source of inspiration for this new team to take up the legacy with renewed passion and a sense of direction.


The ceremony continued with pinning of badges to other cabinet members marking a proud moment for all the members as they embraced their duties with responsibility. The cabinet members took the Rotaract Oath, pledged to uphold the duties to serve the community with sincerity and integrity. Thereafter, the President and Vice President extended warm gratitude to esteemed dignitaries for their valuable presence and support. The ceremony then proceeded with the Incoming Secretarial Announcement delivered by Joint RTR. Secretary Arpit Bhalotia and RTR. Manya Ratra who outlined the vision, goals and structure for the inaugural year. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by RTR. Rachit Kedia, the Sergeant-at-Arms, who expressed appreciation to all guests, faculties and attendees for their valuable presence.

The newly inducted cabinet thanked everyone and once again promised their commitment toward collective work, assuring that changes would be effective for meaningful social causes. In conclusion, the Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club  SRCC, was not only about the celebration of yet another new tenure but a testament to youth leadership, service, and commitment at its very best; hence, it marked yet another promising year of purpose-driven endeavors and changes.
